I started the fall of the house of usher yesterday and I truly didn’t know there was a “big pharma opioid crisis” plot to it and it’s so bizarre to me cause I’m literally studying drugs and regulatory affairs

so like the whole scene with young Roderick proposing the drug to Rufus Griswold was giving me whiplash cause everything Griswold was telling him (clinical trials and regulations for getting FDA approval, medical devices are easier to get approved etc…) is exactly what I’m studying right now lmao
